Air monitoring equipment may also be used before, during, and after the project to verify that containment systems are working effectively and that airborne contaminant levels remain within acceptable limits.
Final Clearance Before Reopening the Area
Once hazardous materials have been removed, the containment area undergoes a thorough cleaning before barriers are taken down.
Final inspections and clearance testing help confirm that the area is safe for reoccupancy. Only after these requirements have been satisfied are containment materials removed and normal access restored.
